Charlie Hanna is an investor (Principal/Partner-level) at Marcy Venture Partners, the Jay-Z-backed firm that leads Series A and Series B rounds in culture-driven consumer brands. His investing centres on fashion, food & beverage, wellness, consumer health, media/content and related consumer categories, often at Series A–B with cheque sizes around $100K to $5.0M. Before Marcy, he worked in talent at William Morris and Paradigm, founded the blockchain content-licensing startup BitRights, and invested at SWAT Equity Partners; he holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University.
