About Investor

Caroline Casson is Senior Director of Corporate Venture Capital at Maximus, where she is building Maximus Ventures, investing in digital health, government infrastructure, and secure data technologies. She previously spent four years as a Partner at Vitalize Venture Capital, a Midwest- and Bay Area-based early-stage firm investing in enterprise software and the future of work, from pre-seed through Series B, where she led due diligence and ran VITALIZE Angels, a 500+ member angel group. Before Vitalize, she was Principal at IrishAngels (2018-2021), and earlier incubated a drone startup at GE Ventures after completing GE's Financial Management Program. She holds a BBA with honors in math and psychology from Boston College and an MS in Management from the University of Notre Dame, where she was valedictorian. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, she now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
