Candice Matthews Brackeen is a General Partner at Lightship Capital. Lightship focuses on underrepresented, early-stage transformational businesses in CPG, e-commerce, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and health tech, and invests from pre-seed to Series A. Matthews Brackeen is also the founder and CEO of Lighthouse, the Cincinnati-based portfolio services firm behind Hillman, NewMe, and Lightship. Her background includes building founder support infrastructure for underrepresented entrepreneurs and influencing economic-inclusion partnerships and policy in the Midwest.
