Brian Zhan is a Partner at Striker Venture Partners, a $165 million early-stage fund he co-founded in 2025 with Max Gazor, focused on making concentrated, high-conviction seed investments (roughly $5M-$30M day-zero checks) in highly technical, often pre-product teams across frontier AI, robotics, and cybersecurity. He previously spent two years as an Investor at CRV, where he made early bets on Skild AI, Reflection AI, Lepton AI (acquired by NVIDIA), and Voyage AI (acquired by MongoDB). He began his career as a software engineer at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Assistive Robotics Lab, then worked in product roles at Facebook and Starburst, before starting to angel-invest in projects led by former Facebook engineers. He holds a Computer Science degree from Northwestern University. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
