Brian Penick is Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at LOUD Capital, where he manages the firm's entertainment division and invests in messaging, payments, fintech, and auto tech, from seed through Series B, with checks between $100K and $5M. He is also Founder of Career Map, a skill and career development platform serving the music, physician, and political industries, in which LOUD Capital is an institutional investor. He previously co-founded the music tech company Soundstr (acquired by VNUE, Inc.) and consulted for Kobalt Music (acquired by Sony) and Aviso (acquired by Watermark), following a 12-year career as a professional musician. He is a regular contributor to Forbes.com on entrepreneurship, entertainment, and investing, and has spoken at SXSW, CMJ, and other major music industry conferences. He holds a degree in Electronic Media from the University of Cincinnati.
