About Investor

Boyd Carson is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Sapphire Capital Partners LLP, a London and Belfast-based investment manager and consultancy managing over £280 million across 45+ micro venture capital funds, primarily through the UK's Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS). He invests across a broad range of sectors including technology, robotics, design, health, and renewables at seed and early stages. Before founding Sapphire, he was a Director of M&A due diligence at PwC in New York and London, and founded and exited several startups in eCommerce, property, and renewables. Sapphire won Best SEIS Investment Manager at the 2021 EIS Association Awards. He holds an accounting degree from Queen's University Belfast and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is based in London/Belfast, United Kingdom.
