Bobby Pittman is a Founding Partner at Kupanda Capital, an investment platform focused on creating, capitalizing, and scaling pan-African companies. Kupanda’s investment work spans early-stage businesses in sectors such as media, data services, energy, fintech, and agriculture, and current fund profiles place it from pre-seed through Series A with a typical check size of about $1M. Before Kupanda, Pittman was Vice President of Infrastructure, Private Sector and Regional Integration at the African Development Bank, where he managed a portfolio of more than $25 billion in active projects across Africa.
