Benedikt Kronberger is a Founding Partner at Matterwave Ventures, a Munich-based industrial deep-tech venture firm that emerged in 2022 as a rebrand of btov Partners' Industrial Technologies team. He focuses on early-stage hardware and software companies reshaping industrial value chains, including industrial IoT, AI, robotics, and manufacturing, with checks between $300K and $11M. His portfolio and board positions include Kivu Technologies, Ninox, Sensolus, Testbirds, ToolSense, and Visplore. Before venture capital, he co-founded two startups in e-commerce and entertainment, worked in corporate development at OMV, and in M&A at Rothschild. He holds a Master's in International Business from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, additional CEMS credentials, and a degree in public administration from Harvard's Kennedy School. He is based in Munich, Germany.
