Ben Auspitz is Managing Partner at Curie.Bio, where he leads the Breakout Fund, helping scale seed-stage biotech companies through transformative clinical data and identifying Series A opportunities. Before Curie.Bio, he co-founded, served as founding CEO, and later chaired IDRx, a precision oncology company subsequently acquired by GSK. Earlier, he was a Partner at F-Prime Capital, where he led first venture investments in Ultragenyx, Modis Therapeutics, REGENXBio, Symbiomix, Orchard Therapeutics, Precision Biosciences, Xilio Therapeutics, and Atalanta Therapeutics. Over his two-decade career, he has been involved in founding and funding more than 20 biotech companies that have collectively generated six FDA-approved drugs. He began his career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and holds a BA from Harvard University. He is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
