About Investor
Bastian Hasslinger is a Partner at Index Ventures, based in London, where he focuses on enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure investments across Europe, partnering with technical founders to scale horizontal AI applications and vertical solutions for research-intensive industries. He joined Index Ventures in 2023. He previously led Picus Capital's Berlin office, where he specialized in pre-seed and seed stage investments across Human Capital/HRTech, Insurance, Real Estate/PropTech, EnergyTech, Health IT, and FinTech, with checks between $250K and $750K. Earlier, he was one of the first team members at Munich-based software venture Alasco. He holds an MSc from ETH Zürich and a BSc from KIT.
