Barry Givens is managing partner at Collab Capital, which backs early-stage, tech-enabled startups led by Black and underrepresented founders across economic mobility, healthcare access, and community infrastructure. Collab’s current fund strategy is focused on Seed and Series A, with initial checks ranging from $500,000 to $1 million and follow-on investments up to $2 million. Givens previously founded and led Monsieur, one of the first robotic bartending companies, and later served as a managing director at Techstars focused on social impact startups and underrepresented founders.
