Ashmeet Sidana is founder and chief engineer of Engineering Capital, a firm that specializes in leading seed rounds in software companies built around technical insight. His investment focus spans developer tools, enterprise, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI, and recent investor profiles place his investing range at $100K to $10M across pre-seed, seed, and Series A. Before becoming an investor, Sidana held leadership roles helping build VMware ESX Server and Silicon Graphics WebFORCE, and he came to venture from VMware, where he ran product management for ESX Server.
