About Investor

Anu Hariharan is Founder and Managing Partner of Avra, a venture fund launched in September 2023 focused on empowering growth-stage founders to scale their companies, co-founded with former colleagues from Y Combinator and former Brex executive Lucas Fox. From 2016 to March 2023, she was Partner and Co-Founder of Y Combinator's Continuity Fund (since discontinued), leading later-stage investments in Brex, Convoy, Faire, Gusto, Whatnot, Instacart, Monzo, Rappi, and Zepto. She serves on the boards of Avis Budget Group, Monzo, RevenueCat, Whatnot, Brex, and Groww. Before YC, she was an Investment Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, working with companies including Airbnb, Instacart, and Udacity, and earlier was a Principal at BCG's private equity practice and a senior software engineer at Qualcomm. She holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Wharton School. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
