About Investor
Anna Khan is General Partner at CRV in San Francisco, where she leads investments in vertical SaaS, enterprise software, and technology that serves the "Forgotten Worker" — markets historically left behind by software, where hourly workers, blue-collar employees, and industries relying on manual processes stand to gain the most. Her thesis: "I'm looking for startups that give power to the people that software has forgotten." Portfolio includes Zip (procurement automation, $360M raised), Encord (AI data labeling), Workstream (text-first hiring for hourly workers), Northspyre (real estate development software), Agora (real estate investment software), and Siro (field sales AI). She sourced CRV's investment in Intercom in 2013. Anna grew up in Lahore, Pakistan and attended Stanford University, where she was advised by Professor Robert McGinn and Adjunct Professor Steve Blank (father of the Lean Startup movement). Her mother founded a school from scratch in Lahore and continues to run it — an influence Anna credits for her belief in the power of community and entrepreneurship.
