Andy Gonzalez is an investor at Ginkgo Bioworks in Boston, where he is part of the team deploying Ginkgo’s venture capital platform into early-stage synthetic biology and bio-enabled companies. Prior to Ginkgo, he worked as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, and he holds a BA in Chemistry from Harvard; he has also contributed to Ginkgo’s strategy work and writing through its “Grow by Ginkgo” publication.
