Andrew Wang is the independent Chair of the Investment Committee at Kairos, a New York–based venture firm focused on companies serving families, health and everyday consumer needs, and he is also Co-Founder and CEO of mortgage-servicing fintech Valon. At Kairos he typically backs Seed and Series A companies with checks in the $1M to $5M range, with a sweet spot around $1.5M, across sectors such as parenting and families, consumer health, biotech, digital health, health IT, payments and broader consumer internet. His professional background includes serving as a Principal at Soros Fund Management, where he worked at the intersection of private credit and venture, following earlier work in aviation finance at Goldman Sachs.
