About Investor

Andrew Hack is Managing Director at Bain Capital Life Sciences, where he leads investments in biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies addressing significant unmet medical needs. His investment focus spans therapeutics, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and medical devices from late preclinical or clinical development through commercial-stage growth, and deals across seed through Series B, with a listed investment range of $100K – $5.0M for earlier-stage allocations. He joined Bain Capital Life Sciences after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Editas Medicine, following prior roles as a life sciences portfolio manager at a hedge fund and as an equity research analyst. Andrew is a physician by training with an MD and PhD and brings a blend of clinical, scientific and capital markets experience to his investments.
