Andres Barreto is a Managing Director at Techstars. In that role, he invests in and champions early-stage technology startups, and Techstars describes his track record as investing in hundreds of companies at the pre-seed stage. Techstars’ current accelerator investment offer is $220,000, made up of $200,000 through an uncapped MFN SAFE plus $20,000 through a post-money CEA for 5% common stock. He has built ventures including Grooveshark, PulsoSocial, Socialatom Group, and Onswipe, and he has been active in building startup ecosystems across Latin America and other emerging markets.
