Andreas Ritter is the Managing Director of Penta JG (Penta JG12 GmbH and Penta JG44 GmbH), Berlin-based investment advisory entities providing private equity, real estate, and other real asset advisory services exclusively for their shareholders and affiliated family offices. He previously founded and led Oropos GmbH, a similar Berlin-based private equity advisory and angel investing platform for family offices, which was formally dissolved in January 2025. Through this advisory model, he continues to write checks in the $4K to $1M range, mainly into seed-stage opportunities in deeptech, crypto and Web3 infrastructure, biotech, AI, fintech, diagnostics, cybersecurity, and enterprise software. His background includes leading private equity and venture programs at institutions like Allianz Venture Partners and heading private equity for Duke University's endowment.
