Amr Alshihabi is General Partner and Co-Founder at Karman Ventures (formerly Moving Capital), a Santa Monica-based seed-to-Series A venture capital firm he co-founded in 2018 with William Barnes, driven by the Uber alumni network. The firm leverages the skills, networks, and operational insights of early Uber employees — who are distributed globally — to back early-stage founders in mobility, logistics, supply chain, transportation tech, and enterprise software. Karman manages $100M+ in AUM and raised a $150M Fund II in 2024, with notable investments including a $175M Saronic Series B. The firm operates a formal venture fund and an Uber Alumni Syndicate on AngelList. Prior to Karman, Amr was a Partner at Initialized Capital, an operator at Uber, and a consultant at Bain & Company. He holds an MBA from Stanford GSB and a BS in Management Science from MIT.
