Ali Qaiser is Managing Partner at Salica Investments (formerly Hambro Perks’ venture business), where he leads the firm’s global and MENA-focused investment activities. He typically invests between $5.0M and $10.0M from pre-seed to Series B in human capital/HRTech, consumer health, education, e-commerce, consumer internet and fintech. His work has included building Hambro Perks’ Middle East platform and co-leading the Oryx Fund, backing early-stage startups across MENA. Earlier in his career he worked in investment banking and alternative investments and is frequently profiled among leading venture capitalists in the region.
