Alex Mendez is a founding Managing Director Emeritus at Storm Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on mobile, SaaS, and cloud. He has been described by Storm as a seed and early-stage investor, and third-party firm profiles place Storm’s historical investment range at roughly $100K to $3M. Before co-founding Storm, Mendez spent more than two decades in high tech at ROLM, IBM, StrataCom, and Cisco, where he was most recently an SVP and GM after Cisco acquired StrataCom. His investing focus has included wireless, data centers, and software for enterprise customers.
