Alex Manson is CEO of SC Ventures, the venture-building and investment arm of Standard Chartered. SC Ventures builds and invests in breakthrough ventures in and beyond banking, with themes including digital banking and lifestyle, trade and supply chains, digital assets, and AI for finance. Manson founded SC Ventures in 2018 after joining Standard Chartered in 2012, where he served as Group Head, Wholesale Banking Geographies and Global Head, Transaction Banking. Before Standard Chartered, he spent 12 years at Deutsche Bank and began his banking career at Credit Suisse.
