About Investor

Alex Lin is cofounder and general partner of Reforge, a crypto venture fund investing in “coordination infrastructure” across capital markets, AI and compute systems, and previously served as Head of Research and investor at Shima Capital. He primarily backs early-stage web3 and blockchain infrastructure, composable financial systems, NFTs and gaming, historically writing $250K to $3.0M checks from pre-seed through Series A. Before launching Reforge he was a venture partner at Old Fashioned Research, focused on crypto and web3 ecosystems. His earlier career spans consulting at Deloitte, engineering and product roles at Teads and Concertiv, and founding the digital health startup Tether Health. He studied applied mathematics, computer science and economics at Virginia Military Institute and later completed a tech-focused MBA at Cornell University.
