Alex Goldsmith is Vice President at Flagship Pioneering, where he serves as Vice President of Strategy & Operations and Senior Principal on the Origination team, and he is also Co-founder and COO of Apriori Bio, a Flagship-founded biotech company. In his investing and venture-creation role he works on company formation and early financing, typically within Flagship’s $500K to $15.0M check range for seed and Series A biotech, pharmaceuticals, health IT and health services ventures. His background spans more than 18 years in biotechnology and pharmaceutical strategy and operations, including drug development, clinical development, commercialization and strategic consulting.
