Alex Cochand is a Director at SEI Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of SEI Investments Company, investing $1M-$10M per deal from Series A to B rounds in financial technology developers working on wealth management, capital markets, insurance, lending, banking, and blockchain technologies. He previously spent three and a half years at QVentures (2021-2025), joining as Head of Origination and being promoted to Partner in November 2023, where he sourced Series A to D deals and sat on the boards of AllotMe, Bridged Media, and CareerPaths. Before that, he helped Avios launch its corporate venturing unit in 2017 while working as a manager at Downing Ventures, and began his career as an analyst at Bluebox Corporate Finance Group. He holds a CFA charter and studied Investments and Securities and Business Economics at Oxford Brookes University. He is based in London.
