Alain le Loux is a General Partner at Cottonwood Technology Fund, investing in IP-driven deep tech and hard science startups, focusing on seed and Series A rounds with cheque sizes between $1M and $3M and a sweet spot around $1.5M. He targets sectors such as robotics, photonics, semiconductors, advanced materials, nanotechnology, clean energy, sensor technology, telecom, and advanced manufacturing. His most recent investment includes Sencure. He is based in the Netherlands. He holds MSc degrees in Computer Science and Management of Technology from Twente University and an Executive MBA from Business School Netherlands, and has over 25 years of board-level and startup leadership experience in technology and angel investing.
