Agate Freimane is a founding general partner at Norrsken VC. Norrsken is an early-stage impact investor that backs startups building solutions across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, including energy and climate hardware, deeptech, AI, biodiversity, healthtech, and education. The firm’s sweet spot is Seed and Series A, and it says ticket size can range from 500K–7M EUR. Freimane started her career in investment banking and private equity at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley in London and New York, then joined BrickVest as one of its first employees and later co-founded the edtech charity Bright Mentors.
