Adam M. Beal is an investor at R3i Ventures, where he focuses on deeptech and medtech from the firm’s Mountain View outpost. He invests primarily in early-stage companies building in areas such as AgTech, robotics, materials science, energy, climate/cleantech, space, AI and web3, typically from Seed through Series B, with checks in the $1M to $5.0M range and a preference around $2.0M. His background spans founding two companies (including a dual-use AI startup), managing strategic investments for Honda, and leading strategic initiatives at General Motors. He helped launch the U.S. Air Force Accelerator and is active as a mentor with defense and national security innovation organizations.
