Santiago Dañino Beck is Partner & Head of Latin America at Picus Capital in New York. He focuses on Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A investments across HRTech, transportation tech, insurance, PropTech, energy tech, fintech, health IT, and e-commerce, with a sweet spot around $500 K. His most recent lead investment is in corporate spend platform Clara. He is based in New York and was previously Vice President on the firmwide management team at D.E. Shaw & Co., led Strategy & Business Operations at Splice, and worked on strategy and analysis at Spotify after starting his career in Goldman Sachs’ Emerging Markets investment banking group. He holds an MBA and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
