About Investor

Mary Grove is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Bread and Butter Ventures, an early-stage venture firm she co-founded with Brett Brohl in 2020, investing in AgTech, Health IT, Enterprise, Health & Hospital Services, and SaaS at seed and Series A, with checks between $100K and $5.0M. She previously spent 14 years at Google, including as founding director of Google for Startups, before serving as an investment partner at Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, where she led investments across 70+ cities in healthcare, enterprise software, and fintech. She is also co-founder and executive director of Silicon North Stars, a nonprofit supporting young Minnesotans from underserved communities pursuing tech careers, and serves on the boards of HealthPartners, Vital Voices, the Minneapolis Foundation, and the Techstars Foundation. She holds a BA and MA from Stanford University. She is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
