Kush M. Parmar, M.D., Ph.D., is Managing Partner at 5AM Ventures. 5AM describes itself as a life sciences investment firm focused on funding and building next-generation life sciences companies, with its venture strategy primarily investing in private therapeutic companies and emphasizing Series A. Parmar has guided companies through IPOs, acquisitions, and major partnerships, serves on multiple biotech boards, and is also active in India’s biotech ecosystem as a board member of Syngene International and a co-founder of Immuneel Therapeutics. Before 5AM, he trained as an NIH-sponsored M.D./Ph.D. physician-scientist fellow in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Program.
