Kavindi Wickremage is a Partner at Bain Capital Real Estate in Boston and part of the firm’s real-estate investing team. She focuses on real estate and real-estate–adjacent opportunities, with a particular emphasis on institutional-scale assets and platforms, and is active from early to later stages through Bain’s real-asset vehicles; her venture-style co-investments commonly fall in the $1M–$100.0M range. Her work centers on sourcing, underwriting, and managing value-add and opportunistic real-estate investments alongside operating partners. Before becoming a partner at Bain Capital Real Estate, she was part of the Harvard Management Company real-estate team that transitioned into Bain, helping build the platform’s current strategy.
