About Investor

Johanna Posada is Founder and Managing Partner at Elevar Equity, where she leads the firm’s investing strategy and priorities in Latin America and supports the India investing team. Her work centers on backing entrepreneurs serving low-income and emerging-market communities, including financial services, MSME-oriented services, and education. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Economist at the Central Bank of Mexico, then moved into corporate finance roles including ExxonMobil’s Exploration Company, and later worked at Unitus before founding Elevar.
