Jared Perry is a Principal at Bain Capital Partnership Strategies in Boston and also serves as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for that platform. He focuses on investing into alternative asset managers and structured partnership vehicles across sectors including insurance, fintech, real estate/proptech, biotech, e-commerce, health IT, and broader enterprise applications, usually at seed and early stages on the direct/side-car side with an investment range of approximately $100K–$5.0M and a sweet spot around $1.5M. His remit blends GP-stakes–style and partnership investments with selective early-stage company exposure, leveraging Bain Capital’s broader platform. Jared joined Bain Capital in 2013 after roles at Athena Capital Advisors, DUMAC (Duke’s investment office), and Duke University Health System, and he holds a degree from Wake Forest University.
