Hany Al-Sonbaty is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Sawari Ventures and is based in Cairo, Egypt. He focuses on FinTech, SaaS, and health and hospital services companies at the Seed, Series A, and Series B stages. His investment interests include digital financial products, scalable software platforms, and technologies that improve healthcare delivery and hospital operations. Hany generally invests between $500K and $7M, with a preferred commitment of approximately $5M. As a lead investor, he plays an active role in selecting companies, structuring financing rounds, and guiding portfolio development. At Sawari Ventures, he supports technology companies as they scale across Egypt and broader regional markets.
