About Investor

David Horowitz is Founder and CEO of Cerity Partners' Corporate Venture Capital practice, based in the Philadelphia area. Previously, he co-founded and led Touchdown Ventures, which pioneered "venture capital as a service" by partnering with corporations to manage their venture capital programs, investing between $100K and $5.0M in advertising, fintech, education, real estate/PropTech, and media/content at seed through Series B. Before Touchdown, he spent 14 years in corporate venture capital at Comcast Ventures, joining in 2000 as one of the group's first employees, and was also a founder and partner at Genacast Ventures, a Comcast Ventures-backed seed fund. He began his career as an investment banker at Bear Stearns. He teaches venture capital on the faculty of the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, serves on the board of the National Football Foundation, and founded the South Jersey Tech Collective. He holds a BBA with highest honors from the University of Michigan.
