He typically invests at the pre-seed and seed stages with investments spanning both New York City and other tech hubs. Manning is a technologist, investor, and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience, particularly in the music and music tech industries. He is the founder and CEO of HIFI, a financial rights organization for the music industry that was acquired by Block (formerly Square Inc.) in October 2023. He was a founding venture partner at early-stage capital firm DEV and has held executive roles at MTV Networks and co-founded Echospin, a pioneering commerce platform acquired in 2010.
